PLANNING COMMISSION
APPLICATION
The Planning Commission serves as an advisory board to the City Council. The commission
reviews and makes recommendations to the City Council on items such as the Comprehensive
Plan, zoning codes, and other development review within the city. Planning Commissioners
serve four-year terms. Applicants must be 18 years of age and live in Newcastle. If you are
interested in participating in local government by becoming a member of the Planning
