CELERATED BACHELOR’S/MASTER’S PROGRAM APPLICATION
Some UB graduate programs provide accelerated pathways for exceptional students. To
apply, students must have an undergraduate GPA of at least 3.5 through at least 90
credits, with at least 15 credits earned at UB, and be admissible to the graduate program
to which they wish to accelerate. Students admitted to an accelerated option may earn
up to 9 graduate credits (charged at undergraduate rates) within the last 30 credits of the
bachelor’s degree; these 9 may be applied to both the bachelor’s and master’s degrees if
the student remains continuously enrolled at UB, maintains a 3.5 grade-point average in
undergraduate courses, and earns at least a 3.0 in the graduate courses. Other
admission criteria may apply for permission to proceed with the master’s degree.
