Intersegmental General Education Transfer Curriculum (IGETC)
2019-2020 ADVISING FORM
Student’s Name: __________________________________ ______________________ ______________________
Last First Student I.D. # Major
Completion of all the requirements in the Intersegmental General Education Transfer Curriculum (IGETC) will permit a student to transfer from a
community college to a campus in either the California State University or the University of California system without the need, after transfer, to take
additional lower-division, G. E. courses to satisfy campus G.E requirements. However, completion of the IGETC is not a requirement for admission
to the CSU or UC system nor is the only way to fulfill lower division G.E. requirements (see reverse side for more information about IGETC
exceptions, restrictions, and certification).
For more specific information, please see a counselor before enrolling in these courses.
