How does the program work after registering your security
camera system?
If a crime occurs in your neighborhood or near your business, an
Officer will research our database of registered security camera
systems to locate any members of the program that are in the
area of the criminal offense. The Officer will contact the
member(s) to see if their camera systems have captured any
video footage that may assist in the Police Department’s
investigation. If the member has captured any video footage
that may assist in the investigation, the Officer will ask the
member to provide a copy of just the footage of the incident
requested. The copy of the footage will be entered into Police
evidence to aid in prosecution of the crime that occurred.
Does the program give the Bedford Police Department
