Application for Ratcliffe Foundation Scholars
2020-2021 Academic Year
The Ratcliffe Scholars Program benefits students pursuing an
Associate in Applied Science in Technology degree. Priority is given to
students in the trade programs of HVAC, Welding, Electricity, Electronics,
Google IT, Computer Technology, and Industrial Technology. The Ratcliffe
Scholars Program offers stackable credentials with the goal to produce
highly skilled, competent industrial technicians for employment in STEM
related fields. Students who graduate with this degree will qualify for well-
paying high tech positions. Students may also use this program to transfer
to some four-year schools.
Priority will be given to students enrolled in 15 or more credits, and
students must enroll in a minimum of six credits. Ratcliffe Scholars must
complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Students
must use any federal, state, or other financial aid funds first, before
accessing Ratcliffe Scholars Program funding.
Funding in the Ratcliffe Scholars Program may cover tuition and fees,
books, supplies and equipment, internships, technology, plus allowances
for housing, transportation, and other living expenses. Funds may not be
used for personal expenses not related to college attendance, such as
entertainment and/or legal fees. Aid will be awarded on a First Come, First
Served basis. Students must complete the FAFSA and submit the attached
Ratcliffe Scholars Application.
