Campus Involvement Ambassadors (CIA)
serve as a
resource to students interested in
becoming connected to the campus community
through involvement. In order to apply, students
must have previous involvement experience at
Fresno State.
Responsibilities:
Promote campus involvement by connecting
students to clubs and events.
Introduce students to leadership
opportunities on campus and facilitate
leadership retreats.
Examples of events include: tabling, giving
presentations, and meeting with students.
The USU Board of Directors
oversees the
services and facilities of the University Student
Union (USU) as
the student representatives on
matters affecting both
the USU and Satellite
Student Union.
Responsibilities:
Establish policies, guidelines, and budget
for the USU & SSU.
Provide input about the programs and
services the USU offers.
Examples of events include: public
relations, special projects, committee
meetings, and conducting tours.
USU Productions is where the fun is at! These
students create a wide array of entertaining and
enriching events and activities
for the campus
community throughout the year.
Responsibilities:
Brainstorm, develop, plan, and implement
events for students.
Actively participate in events and activities
coordinated by USU Productions.
Examples of events include: coordinating
and marketing events such as movies,
concerts, day trips, comedians, and
celebrations.
Vintage Days is Fresno State’s largest student-
planned campus and community celebration. The
annual spring event combines social, cultural,
and recreational activities into a weekend festival
on campus.
Responsibilities:
Publicize the event through different
media outlets.
Plan and implement all aspects of the
weekend activities for the celebration.
Examples of events include: organize food
and game booths, concerts, crafts faire,
and kid's zone.
