Appeal for Financial Aid Eligibility
Re-Instatement Appeal
This appeal form is ONLY for students who were previously denied an appeal and who
have subsequently enrolled and completed at least 6 credit hours successfully without the
use of Financial Aid but are still ineligible due to not having a 2.0 cumulative GPA and/or
not having a 67% cumulative completion rate.

STEPS TO APPEAL:
1. Log into your PPCC Student Portal and confirm that your Financial !id status is “ineligible” for financial aid. Once
in the portal, click FINANCIAL AID AWARD; then VIEW YOUR STATUS (if your most recent semester resulted in a
cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher and a cumulative completion rate of 67% or higher, your status should have
automatically been changed to “good-standing.”) If your status is listed as “ineligible” you will need to submit this
form.
2. Type a statement explaining how the issues that prevented you from being successful in the past are resolved and
how you plan to ensure your success in the future.
3. Indicate the # of credits you plan to enroll in the next time you enroll for courses: ______________. This is
needed to determine if you will need to be placed on an Academic Plan. If it is determined that you need to be on
an Academic Plan, one will be emailed to your student email address for you to sign.
Deadline to appeal is 5 business days before the published census (drop) date.

You will be notified via your PPCC-assigned email account as to the outcome of your appeal. If your appeal is granted,
your applicable aid will be reinstated. If your appeal is denied, your aid will be canceled. Other conditions may apply to
your approved or denied appeal.
