To collect unpaid loans and debt that may be owed by you to us.

connecon with any loan is not at risk.
We may also disclose your personal informaon to third pares from me to me for the following reasons:
In the event that there is (or is to be) any change in ownership of our business or assets, we may
disclose your personal data to the prospecve or new owners so that they may connue to operate our
business elecvely and connue to provide services to our customers. This may include new shareholders
or any organisaon that may take an assignment or transfer of any agreements we have entered into
with our customers.
If we are under a duty to disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with any legal
obligaon (including with any government agencies or regulators) or to exchange informaon with

We will check our own records and we will also contact credit reference agencies to get informaon on your credit

we make a decision to make a loan to you. By subming your applicaon to us, you authorise us to make an enquiry to
credit reference agencies regarding your credit behaviour.

7. Retenon of your personal informaon
The length of me we retain your informaon will depend on the purpose for which the informaon was provided.

you with a service that you have requested for the duraon for which we are required to keep it for
legal and regulatory purposes.
We will keep records of any transacons you enter into on the Equinance website for a minimum
period of six years. This is to allow us to respond to any complaints or disputes that may arise during

We will keep other informaon about you if it is necessary for us to do so to comply with the law.

We will provide your informaon to you free of charge and within 30 days of receiving your request.
We may be entled to extend this to two months if the request is parcularly complex or involves numerous
requests. We may also be permied to charge a reasonable fee if a request is deemed to be manifestly
unfounded or excessive.
You may also contact the credit reference agencies operang within the UK to obtain further informaon about
what informaon they hold about you. Please contact us and we will provide you with their details.
10.2 Right to reccaon
You are entled to have personal data reced if it is inaccurate or incomplete.
