Course Learning Outcomes:
Learning Outcomes Upon successful completion of this course, students will:
Demonstrate proficiency in cognitive, psychomotor and affective domains in accordance with the current
guidelines of the credentialing agency.
Be able to apply operational principles in out-of-hospital environments; demonstrate life-saving care to patients
at the Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) level; and display professional and ethical behaviors expected of
emergency personnel.
Methods of Assessment:
Computer Based Exams, critical skills development, scenario assessments, assessment graphs, patient care
assessments, oral interviews, critical thinking skills, various hands on skills evaluations and decision making
exercises.
