APPLICANT DECLARATION
I understand that by completing and signing this application, I am entering into an arrangement to pay off my
outstanding Rates in the manner specified above.
I also understand that in accordance with Section 67 of the Local Government Act 2009 and Council's budget resolution,
all outstanding amounts accrue interest at the rate of 8.03% per annum, which is calculated on a daily basis up
to the date of full payment.
I also understand that should the arrangement to pay not be met (without agreement from Council) then the
arrangement to pay is considered CANCELLED and FULL payment of the outstanding amount is due immediately. I also
understand that failure to pay any outstanding amount may mean that Council shall undertake legal recovery through a
debt collection agent and I accept that the cost of this legal recovery will be charged to me.
I declare that the above details I have provided are true and correct. Mareeba Shire Council does not take responsibility
for the supply of incorrect information.
