Under penalties of perjury, the undersigned hereby declares that he/she has examined the
attached Affidavit for Realty Transfer Tax on Unincorporated Areas in Sussex County Pursuant to Chapter
103 of the Sussex County Code (the “County Realty Transfer Tax Affidavit”), and in connection with the
filing of the County Realty Transfer Tax Affidavit, he/she hereby certifies from personal knowledge, that
the contract for the sale of the real property that is the subject of the County Realty Transfer Tax
Affidavit was entered into on . This Affidavit is provided as evidence in
support of the reduction of the applicable tax rate permitted for First Time Home Buyers on the First
Time Home Buyer portion of the County Realty Transfer Tax Affidavit pursuant to Article IV, § 103-19D of
the Code of Sussex County as modified on June 13, 2017 and effective for all contracts entered into on
or after July 1, 2017. The parties authorize the Sussex County Department of Finance to request
and obtain sufficient documentation to verify the information provided in this Affidavit.
