Program Description
The environmental science and policy track is a
transfer program that provides the first two years of
courses necessary for a four-year baccalaureate
degree in environmental science or policy. Working
closely with a counselor or adviser, students will be
able to tailor their program of study to fit the needs
of most, if not all, colleges and universities offering
a degree in environmental science or environmental
policy.
Program Outcomes
Upon completion of this program a student will be
able to:
Make observations, collect data, and analyze
data.
Apply basic biological and chemical principles
to explain experimental results.
Describe connections between the environment
and human societies, including how humans
affect the environment and how the environment
in turn affects human welfare.
