WPE General Information
There are no requirements to attend most non-credit continuing education classes. Most
classes do not require a high school diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma. Some
experience may be necessary. Check course description for details and required
prerequisites. Contact WPE for more information at 732-255-0409.
Class Confirmation
Provide a current email address to receive your course confirmations/registration receipts by
email upon registration. Students registering online may print a registration receipt. It is your
responsibility to confirm the start of the course and its room assignment by checking online
here. WPE posts the weekly schedule of class meeting times every Friday. All classes are
at OCC, unless otherwise noted. IMPORTANT! Bring your registration receipt/confirmation to
the first class. If you register close to the start of the class, your name will not be on
the instructor’s attendance sheet. Present your payment receipt for entrance into the class.
Refund Policy
WPE will provide a refund for a class ONLY if you withdraw four (4) business days,
8:00AM-4:00PM prior to the start date of the class for which you are registered. If you are
withdrawing due to medical circumstances or personal hardship, WPE requires proper
documentation. Refunds are issued within 2-4 weeks based on the original payment
method. WPE does not issue refunds should you be dismissed from class for misconduct. WPE
does not issue refunds for trips or ticketed events. Student substitutions for courses are not
allowed.

development courses. You will find CEU eligible courses in the brochure with the amount of
CEU given at the end of the course descriptions. In order to be eligible to receive CEU, you
must meet the 80% attendance requirement, and in some cases, a passing grade, unless
otherwise stated in the course description. The standard applies to certificate programs also.
Your instructor will answer questions regarding the 80% attendance rate for a specific class
on the first day of class.

In order to qualify for a certificate, you must successfully complete all of the courses within
the Certificate Program inclusive of their requirements. Send the request for your certificate

the certificate you are requesting, dates attended, and your current mailing address. Follow
this procedure when requesting a transcript letter.

these documents.
