2020 YOUTH ARTS FESTIVAL
Artist Proposal Form
The 2020 Youth Arts Festival will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2020, from
10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Cochise College. This free arts festival will serve grades K-8 through
dynamic “make and take” activities and live performances that are fun for the whole
family!
We are looking for proposals from artists and craftspeople to lead art activities for
children and their families. We are hoping to offer a wide variety of arts opportunities,
including: 3D art, 2D art, theatre, music/dance, creative writing and other crafts. This
year we are excited to help youth explore the theme “Color Your World” to create an
expression of their inner vibrance! Proposals for activities involving an emphasis on
color are encouraged, but not required.
Your activity does not have to work for all ages, but should be able to engage
many of the guests who attend. Supplies (within reason), lunch, and a $50 stipend will be
provided to the artists who are selected to lead each activity. Student volunteers from
Buena High School and Cochise College will be present to assist lead artists with their
activities. Setup for the event will begin at 9 a.m. on Saturday, February 22, with
activities concluding by 2:30 p.m., followed by end-of-day events at the Student Union.
