REVIEWED FOR THE FOLLOWING SEMESTER
INCOMPLETE APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE FORWARD TO THE SCHOLARSHIP COMMITTEE
UNTIL ALL DOCUMENTS ARE COMPLETE

State Employee’s Credit Union Foundation Two-Year Scholarship Program
To qualify for this scholarship, you must meet the following criteria:
1. Be a high school graduate or has completed the General Education Development (GED) program and
enrolled in an associate degree program.
2. Be a U.S. citizen and a resident of NC under NCGS 116-143.1, and is eligible for in-state tuition.
3. Must demonstrate financial need. Completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
is required.
4. Must maintain a 2.5 or higher grade point average on a 4.0 scale.
5. Must use scholarship to pay tuition and fees, books and supplies and transportation.
6. Agree to continue at the community college where enrolled at time of scholarship award for the duration
of the scholarship, for four consecutive fall/spring semesters or upon completion of a diploma program.
This scholarship is not transferable to another student or another school.
7. Must complete a Consent Form for the State Employee’s Credit Union Foundation Two-Year
Scholarship program. This will be sent if selected for the scholarship.
8. You may be asked to provide a photo that will not be returned to me.
Golden Leaf Scholars Program
To qualify for this scholarship, you must meet the following criteria:
1. Be a resident of North Carolina
2. Be a full-time student enrolled fall and spring; least half-time student enrolled summer
3. Demonstrate financial need (you must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid).
4. You must be making satisfactory academic progress.
5. Use the scholarship to pay for tuition and fees, books and supplies, childcare, transportation and
credentialing exams.
6. Must complete a Photograph and Publicity Release Form for the Golden Leaf Scholarship Program.
This will be sent if selected for the scholarship.
7. You may be asked to provide a photo that will not be returned to me.
Wells Fargo Scholarship
To qualify for this scholarship, you must meet the following criteria:
1. Be a full-time student enrolled in the second year of a two-year educational/technical degree program.
2. Demonstrate financial need (you must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid).
3. You must be making satisfactory academic progress.
4. Use the scholarship to pay for tuition and fees, books and supplies, and or transportation.
Independent Insurance Agents of NC and NC Community College System (IIANC-NCCCS)
To qualify for this scholarship, you must meet the following criteria:
1. Demonstrate financial need (you must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid).
2. You must be making satisfactory academic progress.
3. Must at least taken one of the INS course of the Risk Management and Insurance Program.
