I confirm that I am the First Generation in my family to participate in post-secondary studies and
declare that my parent(s) have not attended post-secondary studies, or attended but did not complete a
postsecondary program, or attended/completed a postsecondary program overseas but are unable to use
their educational qualifications in Canada

Students who rely on funding programs such as OSAP, UTAPS or other sources of financial aid must budget realistically in
order to meet their educational costs. A financial plan provides an opportunity to evaluate progress and make sound decisions.
