Your 2020-2021 financial aid application was late and you ran the serious risk of not receiving assistance.
The deadline for the 2021-2022 academic year is March 2, 2021 for the FAFSA, Student
Supplement, Parent Supplement and a
ll supporting documents including your and your parent(s)
2019 W-2s and federal tax returns. If there is any reason you cannot meet this deadline, you must
contact the Financial Aid Office before March 2, 2021.
It is important that all returning students apply for financial aid for the new academic year by the
established deadlines. These deadlines allow the Financial Aid Office sufficient time to analyze and
award students for the new year and to project the use of limited institutional scholarships. They also
allow us to know how much money we have available to meet the needs of families as their financial
circumstances change. Occidental College cannot guarantee need-based grants and scholarships to
students who miss these important deadlines.
Failure to meet the established deadlines for 2021-2022 will result in the loss of all institutional
aid.
