Market Rules:
1. Arrive on time, stay 'till close, have good attendance. Consistency wins customers.
2. Canopies must be staked/weighted down at all times.
3. All equipment, garbage or litter must be cleared at the end of each event.
4. Please be respectful of other vendor’s space and right to sell their products.
5. Any state sales tax, USDA cottage licenses, County Health permits are the responsibility of the vendor.
6. No power is available. Vendors may not plug into existing plugs. Vendors may bring a generator. If
generators are used, they must be quiet, non-smelly, and moved away from booths/people.

Fee includes a space without power. All tables, canopies, or chairs are the responsibility of the vendor.
Reserved spaces will not be provided.
Spaces are first come first serve.
The Market Manager reserves the right to move or assign vendors to spaces to improve the overall
product placement, layout and function of the Market.
Setup may begin as early as 8am the day of the Market but the City does not take responsibility for
lost or stolen merchandise, especially if left unattended.
Large Food Trucks are encouraged to arrive early to avoid difficult and tight maneuvering.
Once all booths spaces are full, the Market Manager reserves the right to turn away late vendors.
9. Refunds will not be granted if there is rain/weather, all booths spaces are full or vendor absence.
Only locally produced, hand made, or self-grown products allowed. No multi-level products. No
marketing of services, home delivery, etc. No political campaining. Direct sales only. No re-selling
of purchased produce.
Only one vendor allowed per product type. Approval will be granted to the first applicant who
submits a complete application and full payment. Backup applications may be retained in case of
poor product quality, attendance, or friendliness of the initial vendor. If a backup vendor is
selected, full payment will be due prior to attending market.

Applications are accepted March 9 to August 28,
Full season payment is due regardless of application date with an exception for a produce vendor paying
for only 1 week. Weekly produce vendor payment due at time of setup or before.

Please be curtious to market attendees. Vendors engaging in over-aggresive sales tacticts will be asked
to leave, without refund.

Liability of Release:

liability for bodily injury or property damage or loss sustained by me, my agents and/or employees as a result of or arising out of the
activities conducted or engaged in pursuant to this agreement. I further agree to abide by all rules and regulations pertaining to
these events set forth, or any other written or verbal directions from the directors of this event.
By signing this agreement, I agree to follow all rules and guidelines set forth in this document and all other information pertaining to
Syracuse City Farmer’s Market. (see above for Market Rules)
