of the loan.
• Your loan will be prorated if the remaining portion of your academic program is less than one academic
year.
• Loan disbursement dates are published online at easternflorida.edu/go/disbursement.
D. Summer Loan Request
You will only be offered the amount remaining from your annual award limits listed in Section B above. You will be
offered subsidized funds first, then any remaining amount in unsubsidized funds. You must log on to Titan Web to
accept the loans offered to you.
☐ Please offer the following amounts:
☐ $_________________ Subsidized
☐ $_________________ Unsubsidized
OR please offer the maximum available for
☐ Subsidized ☐ Unsubsidized ☐ Both Subsidized & Unsubsidized
☐ I will be changing grade levels after Spring grades have posted and wish to have my loan amount for
Summer updated to reflect this change. ***The request will not be processed until after Spring 2018 grades
have posted and your class standing has been updated.***
E. PLUS Loan Denial
☐ I am a dependent student whose parent has applied for a PLUS loan on studentloans.gov and have received
a denial. Please award the maximum loans available.
F. Students without Parental Support
☐ Students whose parents refuse to support them are not eligible for a dependency override, but they may be
able to receive unsubsidized Stafford loans only. For a student to be eligible for this provision, you must get
documentation (1) that his parents refuse to complete his FAFSA and (2) that they do not and will not
provide any financial support to him. Include the date support ended. If the parents refuse to sign and date
a statement to this effect, you must get documentation from a third party (the student himself is not
sufficient), such as a teacher, counselor, cleric, or court.
