Complete Entrance Counseling (1

time borrowers*): You must complete entrance counseling at https://studentloans.gov . You will
need your FSA ID in order to sign in. When complete, print the confirmation page for your records.
Complete your Master Promissory Note (1

time borrowers*): You will complete your MPN at https://studentloans.gov . Make sure
you have viewed it in both the PDF version and the HTML version. Print a copy of the PDF version for your records.
* If you have borrowed a prior Federal Direct Loan you can skip steps 1 and 2 because you have already completed the MPN and Entrance
Counseling. If you are unsure if you have met these requirements, email us at financialaid@columbiabasin.edu.
Register in at least 6 degree-required credits for the first quarter of this loan period (and subsequent quarters).
