Applicants must meet the following criteria:
• Must be a second-year graduate student at WSU from India.
• Must be a full-time student at WSU.
• Must not be receiving full tuition assistance at WSU.
• Must have a minimum 3.25 cumulative grade point average.
• Must demonstrate contribution to campus life through participation in an Honor Society, Cultural
Society, SGA, Religious Society, Sports Club, or other university student associations.
• Please attach a one page typed statement describing your contribution to campus life and
how your involvement has helped you as a student at WSU.
Recipient will be awarded a $500 scholarship.
Return this application and your statement page to the Office of Financial Aid, Campus Box 24, or the
advisor for the Indian Students Association by 5:00p.m. March 1st. Incomplete applications will not be
considered.
I certify that all answers I have given in this application are accurate to the best of my knowledge. I
understand that failing to disclose or falsifying information could result in my dismissal from Wichita
State University and that making false information is a felony under Kansas law.
I grant permission to obtain information about my grade point average, enrollment status, and financial
status to evaluate my candidacy for scholarship awards. I understand this information will be kept
confidential and will be available only to scholarship committee members having a need to know for the
purpose of scholarship determination.
