To help us in the selection process, each applicant must submit a statement addressing the following que
stions, a resume or
curriculum vitae and attach a WSU transcript to verify your GPA (you may obtain an unofficial transcript from your college’s
Advising Center or by logging into your myWSU account). Please limit your comments to a one-page typed statement.
1) Briefly tell us about yourself; i.e., school activities, community service, etc.
2) What are your
long-range goals, and how would you benefit from this scholarship?
3) How do you personally exemplify the WSU Foundation core values of
teamwork, integrity, relationships and service?
The recipient(s) of the WSU Foundation Core Values Scholarship will need to be willing to have a photograph taken for use in
publicizing our annual fund-raiser. Also, we would like the recipient to attend at least one WSU Foundation staff meeting
during the 2018-2019 school year as our guest. Submission of this application tells us you are willing to comply with both of
these requests. Applications must be received by July 15, 2018 . Recipients will be notified by August 1, 2018.

The WSU Foundation Core Values scholarship is open to all undergraduates of Wichita State University and is awarded without
regard to financial need. Preference will be given to those demonstrating the core values of integrity, relationships, teamwork
and service. Recipient(s) must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours per semester.
