All livestock located in Bernalillo County must be valued for property taxation purposes. The following information
is required by the Assessor's Office in order to properly value the livestock for the current tax year and update your
records. Please complete and return this form to the Bernalillo County Assessor's Office by the last day of February
of the current tax year. (7-36•21NMSA)

If you are claiming agricultural valuation on the property for the first time, please submit your
agricultural application with your livestock declaration.
Complete the Livestock Schedule {see next page}. Enter the quantity of livestock and the TOTAL
VALUE of all animals listed in each category. If your value is lower than the minimum set forth by
the State Taxation and Revenue Department, the VALUE WILL BE UPDATED TO MEET THE
