INTERNATIONAL STUDENT
FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM
The Darton College
International Student
Fellowship Program waives the
out-of-state cost of tuition for
eligible students. This will be a
savings of approximately
$2,200 per semester. You may
reapply for the Fellowship
each semester.
Eligibility
Each year Darton College
offers a limited number of
fellowships to highly qualified
international students.
Applicants must be citizens of
a foreign country who have
outstanding potential as
evidenced by their high school
academic record, test scores,
and personal essays. They
must be of excellent character
with strong recommendations
from teachers, community
representatives, or sponsors.
They must have a clear
understanding of their
educational goals and
academic abilities. Moreover,
they must be willing to earn
their fellowships by assisting
the College with campus and
community activities that
promote multicultural
understanding.
In order to be eligible for
an International Student
Fellowship, applicants must
meet all admissions
requirements for enrollment
into Darton College.
Fellowship recipients must (1)
meet the minimum GPA
requirement specified in the
Darton College school catalog,
(2) meet financial obligations
to the college, (3) comply with
the Code of Conduct as stated
in the College’s Student
Handbook, and (4) contribute
required community service
time to Darton College and/or
community service projects
and provide documentation to
support participation.
Continuations of Fellowship
Awards are contingent upon
the recipient’s academic
performance and
contributions to the Darton
College campus and/or
community.
How to Apply
Applicants may request an
application packet for admi-
ssions and the International
Student Fellowship Appli-
cation from the Office of
International Student Services
or download a copy from the
Darton College website
(www.darton.edu/
international). Return the
completed application to the
Office of International
Services. The Darton College
International Student
Fellowships are competitive.
Applicants who meet all
admissions criteria will be
considered first.
